NSA Disaster/HRD Training

2024年6月23日（日曜日）昨夜からの雨の中、早朝よりAir scent/HRD 訓練会を開催しました。
On June 23, 2024 (Sunday), an Air Scent and HRD training session was conducted early in the morning despite the rain that had continued since the previous night.

Disaster Unit

エアセントの初歩犬は、ヘルパーに対しての意欲の向上と告知のスピードや持続、そして環境変化への対応の導入などを考慮しての訓練となりました。
In the Air Scent training, the beginner dogs worked on strengthening their motivation toward the helper, improving the speed and persistence of their alert behavior, and gradually introducing adaptation to environmental changes.

実働犬は、建物内捜索と降雨の中での屋外捜索及び広い暗渠などを想定した入り口から約30m程度の暗闇の続く空間内の捜索など環境変化の想定訓練を行いました。
For the operational dogs, scenario-based training was conducted to simulate changing search environments. These scenarios included indoor building searches, outdoor searches in rainy conditions, and searches within a large culvert-like structure, where the dogs worked in a dark confined space extending approximately 30 meters from the entrance.

HRD Unit

HRDは、建物内の捜索を中心に行い室内での対流に対しての犬の反応の確認や告知の際のナチュラルアラートと原臭に対しての作業意欲の確認などを行いました。
In the HRD training, the teams conducted searches primarily within buildings. The exercises focused on observing the dogs’ responses to indoor air movement and scent circulation, as well as confirming natural alert behavior and working motivation toward the primary odor source.

雨の中でしたが、気温も低くペアごとの課題への取り組みもできましたし、今後の訓練の強化ポイントなども見えてきましたので、team捜索の精度を今後も高めていけるような訓練会にしていきたいと思います。
Despite the rainy conditions, the cooler temperatures allowed each team to work effectively on their current training objectives. The session also highlighted several areas that require further strengthening.
Moving forward, we aim to continue organizing training sessions that improve the precision and coordination of team-based search operations.
