【開催報告】NSA HRD & Trailing Seminar 2023 ＆ 認定試験（HRD／Trailing）

2023年11月11日（土）〜19日（日）の9日間にわたり、三重県四日市市にある国際環境技術移転センターにて、アメリカ人講師によるHRD（Human Remains Detection）およびTrailingの専門セミナーと、**NSA主催の認定試験（HRD／Trailing）**を併催いたしました。
From November 11 to November 19, 2023, a nine-day specialized seminar on HRD (Human Remains Detection) and Trailing, led by instructors from the United States, was held at the International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer (ICETT) in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture.
In conjunction with the seminar, NSA organized certification evaluations for both HRD and Trailing disciplines.

■ セミナー開催の背景と意義

本セミナーは、コロナ禍を経て実に4年ぶりとなる、海外講師を迎えての開催となりました。講師からは、実働で求められる最新の知識・技術が惜しみなくフィードバックされ、参加者一人ひとりがトレーニングのあり方や現場対応の姿勢について改めて学ぶ貴重な機会となりました。全国各地からご参加いただいた皆さまにも、学びの多い充実した時間を過ごしていただけたものと思います。
This seminar marked the first opportunity in four years to host overseas instructors in person, following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The instructors shared the latest operational knowledge and training techniques, offering participants valuable insights into both training methodology and operational readiness.
Participants who joined from across the country experienced an intensive and rewarding learning opportunity throughout the seminar.

■ NSA認定試験の実施と成果

併催されたNSA認定試験は、海外講師による厳正かつ公平なジャッジのもと実施され、以下の成果が得られました。
The NSA certification evaluations, conducted alongside the seminar, were carried out under the strict and fair assessment of the overseas instructors, leading to the following results.

• HRD Search Dog 認定合格：3ユニット　
• Trailing Dog 試験合格：3ユニット／認定合格：1ユニット
• HRD Search Dog Certification: 3 units
• Trailing Dog Aptitude Test: 3 units
• Trailing Dog Certification: 1 unit
  

今回の試験では、セミナーで学んだ姿勢や技術を活かす実践の場として、各チームが真剣に臨み、着実な成果を上げることができました。今後も、得られた知識と技術を現場で活かし、さらなる実働力の向上を目指していきましょう。
In this evaluation, each team approached the test with strong commitment, applying the principles and techniques learned during the seminar. As a result, the teams demonstrated clear progress and meaningful outcomes.
Moving forward, we hope that the knowledge and skills gained will continue to be applied in the field, further strengthening each team’s operational capability.

NSA will continue to act as a bridge for knowledge and technical exchange both within Japan and internationally, while working to expand training and certification opportunities aimed at developing search dogs and enhancing operational capabilities.

NSAの活動は、民間ボランティアによる行方不明者の捜索活動です。
多くの方々からご支援いただくことで、より速く、より多くの行方不明者捜索にサーチドッグを派遣することができます。皆様のご支援をお願いいたします。
NSA’s activities are carried out by civilian volunteers.
