NSA Trailing適性試験

2025年2月9日（日曜日）Trailing適性試験ならびに訓練会を開催しました。AM6:00にMAPLE DOGに集合し、7:00よりTrailing適性試験の捜索を開始しました。
On February 9, 2025 (Sunday), the NSA Trailing Aptitude Test and Training Session was held.
Participants gathered at MAPLE DOG at 06:00, and the Trailing aptitude test searches commenced at 07:00.

捜索適性試験

ヘルパースタートから30分後に捜索開始、300m2屈折地質変更2回の規定の中、訓練経験としては、まだ浅いペアでしたが、良く頑張りました。
The search began 30 minutes after the helper departure.
The trail was set at approximately 300 meters, including two turns and two surface changes.
Although the team was still relatively inexperienced in training, they worked diligently and completed the task with commendable effort.

オビディエンス適性試験

オビディエンス試験は規定に基づき公平性を保ち審査員の厳正な審査のもと行われました。
The obedience evaluation was carried out in accordance with the official regulations, maintaining fairness and conducted under the strict and impartial assessment of the judges.

Trailing/HRD /Disaster訓練会

Trailing

Trailingは適性試験後に、いつもの環境とは違い地質の変化と幹線道路沿いのトレールでしたので訓練難易度が上がりました。
After the aptitude test, additional Trailing training was conducted.
Compared to the usual training environment, the trail involved multiple surface changes and sections running along a main road, resulting in a higher level of training difficulty.

トレール距離を短くした設定で行いましたが、ネガティブ反応が明確に確認できなかったり、ハンドラーがネガティブ反応を見落とすなど、改めTrailingの難易度の高さを感じる事ができましたし、今後の訓練への励みにもなりました。3月開催のworkshopで現在の課題に対してのスキルアップをしていきたいと思います。
Even though the trail distance was intentionally shortened, there were cases where negative indications were unclear or overlooked by the handler.
This experience once again demonstrated the complexity of trailing work and reinforced the need for continued training and skill development.
We plan to further address these training challenges and enhance our skills at the upcoming March workshop.

HRD

HRDは、MAPLE DOGの環境下での捜索と、場所をモナの丘んい移しての捜索の2つの設定で行いました。
The HRD training was conducted under two different scenarios: one within the MAPLE DOG training environment, and the other after relocating to Mona no Oka, where additional search exercises were carried out.

風の流れや状況変化、誘惑刺激など、設定環境により難易度が高まりますが、犬が何に対して反応しているのか？のハンドラーの観察力や、風の流れに対してセントコーンを捉えた際の犬の動きなど、ハンドリングスキルは、非常に大切になります。また告知に対しては、TFRが明瞭・即座・自発的におこなわれているか？という点に関しては、今後も精度を高めていく必要があります。
Environmental variables such as wind patterns, shifting conditions, and environmental distractions can greatly influence search difficulty.
In these situations, the handler’s ability to accurately interpret what the dog is responding to becomes a key operational skill.
Particular attention was placed on reading the dog’s movement when encountering the scent cone influenced by wind flow.
Additionally, the Trained Final Response (TFR) must remain clear, immediate, and self-initiated, and continued training will focus on improving the reliability and precision of the final response.

Disaster

Disasterは、久しぶりのモナの丘で、各ペアの現在の課題に対しての取り組みを行いました。
In the Disaster search training, exercises were carried out at Mona no Oka, a site we had not trained at for some time.
Each team worked on scenarios designed to address their current training objectives and individual challenges.

ハンドラーとの距離間や告知の際の連続咆哮の強化など、基礎的な要素を中心に訓練をし、現状の課題への取り組みを今後どうすべきか？に関してもチームで話し合い、次の訓練会につなげていきたいと思います。
Training emphasized fundamental elements, including maintaining appropriate operational distance between the handler and the dog, as well as reinforcing sustained barking alerts during indication.
The team also discussed strategies for addressing current training challenges, with the goal of applying these insights to future training sessions.
