NSA Trailing/Disaster/HRD Training

2025年9月28日（日曜日）Trailing/HRD/Disaster 訓練会を開催しました。AM6:00 本社資材置き場に集合しTrailing unitは、市街地で各unitの課題に対しての基礎訓練とステップアップの設定訓練を行いました。HRD unitは、TFRの強化トレーニング・車両捜索・土砂災害を想定したエリア捜索を行い各ペアの改善点などを確認しながら次のステップに向けての訓練に臨みました。Disaster unitは、資材置き場内で、いくつかの設定で捜索精度の向上に努めました。
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, we held a Trailing / HRD / Disaster training session. All teams gathered at 6:00 AM at the headquarters materials yard.
The Trailing unit conducted both foundational and step-up scenario training in an urban environment, addressing the specific challenges of each team.
The HRD unit focused on strengthening TFR (Trained Final Response), conducting vehicle searches, and working in an area simulating a landslide disaster. Each team reviewed areas for improvement and continued training toward the next level.
The Disaster unit worked within the materials yard, engaging in several scenarios aimed at improving overall search accuracy.

Trailing training

モチベーションラン

モチベーションランでは、ヘルパーやコースなどを変更し臭跡に対して正しく認識できているのかどうか？なども確認しながら、単なる意欲の引き出しに留まらずに次のステップへのセッションを行った。
During the motivation runs, we varied the helpers and course layouts to assess whether the dogs were correctly recognizing the scent trail. These sessions went beyond simply boosting motivation—they also served as a transition toward the next level of training.

セントアーティクル トレーニング

車両・自転車・犬の散歩・畑仕事をしている人・通行人・誘惑臭などのディストラクションの中、犬の正しい反応の見極めは多くの設定の訓練を経験する必要がある。
In the presence of various distractions such as vehicles, bicycles, dogs being walked, people working in nearby fields, pedestrians, and tempting scents, accurately interpreting the dog’s response requires extensive experience with a wide range of training scenarios.

設定トレールでの交差点・わき道などでのネガティブの反応や、ハンドラーの読みとハンドリングに今後の課題が感じられました。また訓練環境やヘルパーの変更は今後のトレーニングには必要不可欠と感じた。
In the set trail scenarios, challenges were observed in the dogs’ negative responses at intersections and side streets, as well as in the handlers’ ability to read and respond appropriately. Additionally, it became clear that variations in the training environment and changes in helpers are essential components for future training development.

HRD training

TFRの確認

各unitの原臭に対しての反応とTFRの確認を行った。全てのunitが、明確なTFRができており、設定をする際に使用したラテックスグローブの僅かな移行臭にも反応できていたunitもあり、作業への集中が感じられた。
Each unit’s response to the target odor and execution of the TFR was assessed. All units were able to perform clear and consistent TFRs. In fact, some units even responded to faint residual odors transferred from the latex gloves used during the setup, demonstrating a high level of focus and concentration during the task.

車両検索

指定エリアの指定車両の検索という設定で行い、unitごとの特徴の表れた捜索が見られた。全ての捜索でTFRが明確で素早く反応できるように成長を感じられた。
The training was conducted under a scenario of searching a designated vehicle within a specified area, and each unit displayed its unique characteristics during the search. Across all searches, the dogs demonstrated clear and prompt TFRs, showing noticeable growth in their responsiveness and precision.

エリア捜索

ブルーシートで覆われた土砂エリアの捜索は経験が無く、起伏が緩やかなようでも実際は、走破する事が難しくなるエリアもありハンドラーにも良い経験になった。
The search in the soil area covered with blue tarps was a new experience. Although the terrain appeared to have gentle slopes, some areas turned out to be difficult for the dogs to traverse, making it a valuable learning experience for the handlers as well.

Disaster training

エリアとしては広くないものの、要救助者に対して素早く告知ができるように基礎訓練を繰り返し行った。全ての設定で、自主性と素早い告知動作が見られた。
Although the search area was not large, foundational training was repeatedly conducted to ensure the dogs could alert quickly to the victim. In all scenarios, the dogs demonstrated independence and prompt alert behaviors, showing solid progress.
