NSA Trailing/Disaster/HRD Training

10月27日（日曜日）AM5:30からTrailing/Disaster/HRD 訓練会を開催しました。
On Sunday, October 27, Trailing, Disaster Search, and HRD training were conducted beginning at 05:30 AM.

Trailingは、ビギナークラスのステップアップはトレールの距離を延ばした設定と地質の変化や屈折回数などを考慮した訓練となりました。訓練への意欲が興奮となり冷静な捜索にならないユニットは、一旦落ち着かせる時間などを充分に与えそれぞれの課題に対して向き合う事ができました。また第三者の誘惑が自然に加わるような設定でも、目的のヘルパーに対しての捜索が確認できていましたので、今後も環境設定なども含めたステップアップをしていきましょう。
In the Trailing training, beginner teams worked on progression scenarios that incorporated longer trail distances, surface changes, and increased trail turns.
For some units, high motivation resulted in overexcitement, which affected search composure. In such cases, the dogs were given adequate time to settle before continuing the exercise, allowing the teams to refocus on their training objectives.
Even when natural third-party distractions occurred, the dogs maintained focus on the target helper, demonstrating appropriate trail discrimination.
Future training will continue to incorporate progressively more complex environmental scenarios.

Disasterでは実働unitのブラインド設定での捜索を行いました。建物内の捜索ではヘルパーに到達するまでの犬の動きの中に、経験値が不足していることで直近まで到達できない反応も見られました。またハンドラーからの指示を待つ傾向も出ていますので、犬の自主性を更に強化できるように訓練を進めていきたいと思います。
屋外での設定に関しては、セントコーンに対しての明確な反応と安定した告知が見られましたので、様々な捜索条件を想定した中で犬とハンドラーンの経験値を高めていきましょう。
In the Disaster training, operational units conducted blind search scenarios.
During indoor searches, some dogs were unable to reach the helper despite being close to the source, likely due to limited experience in complex environments. In addition, a tendency to wait for handler direction was observed, indicating the need to further develop independent search behavior.
In outdoor scenarios, however, the dogs demonstrated clear scent cone recognition and stable alert behavior. Future training will continue to focus on increasing both canine and handler experience under varied search conditions.

HRDは、瓦礫などの障害物に覆われている設定と、少し開けた平地での捜索の2つのパターンで訓練を行いました。告知に関して、ステップアップを進めていますので、それぞれのユニットに変化も出ています。原臭からのセントコーンに対しての反応は、明確にできてきていますので引き続きハンドラーと犬の距離間を意識して犬の捜索意欲や自主性の強化訓練を進めていきましょう。
In the HRD training, exercises were conducted under two different scenarios: one with sources concealed under rubble and obstacles, and another in a more open terrain environment.
As training progresses to the next stage, improvements in alert behavior are becoming visible across the units.
The dogs are now showing clear recognition of the scent cone originating from the primary odor source.
Future training will continue to focus on maintaining proper handler–dog working distance, while further developing the dogs’ search motivation and independent search initiative.
