NSA Trailing/Disaster/HRD Training

11月24日（日曜日）AM6:30から本社資材置き場に集合しTrailing/Disaster/HRD 訓練会を開催しました。
On Sunday, November 24, participants gathered at the company materials yard at 06:30, where Trailing, Disaster Search, and HRD training were conducted.

Trailing Unit

Trailingは、市街地および住宅街での訓練となり難易度もあがりましたが、それぞれのユニットの現時点での課題も見えましたので、屈折や告知のピンポイントでの訓練などを行い調整しました。
In the Trailing training, exercises were carried out in urban and residential environments, resulting in increased training difficulty.
The session helped identify the current challenges for each unit, and targeted exercises—such as turn handling and precise alert indication training—were conducted to refine their performance.

早朝の低い気温の設定と、10時過ぎの気温が高くなり風の影響を受けやすい開けたアスファルト面などトレールの距離なども含めて状況の変化による難易度が増しましたが良い訓練となりました。
The low temperatures during the early morning hours and the increase in temperature after 10:00 AM, along with open asphalt areas exposed to wind, created varying environmental conditions during the training.
These changes, combined with the trail distance, increased the complexity of the exercise, resulting in a productive and valuable training session.

Disaster Unit

Disasterは、前回の訓練での課題に対しての反復訓練や現状のunitごとの課題に対してのヘルパーの設定を考慮しての訓練となりました。
In the Disaster search training, exercises focused on reinforcing the lessons learned from the previous session through repeated practice.
The helper placements were arranged while taking into account the current training challenges of each unit, allowing each team to work on their specific objectives.

遮蔽物とヘルパーとの距離の感覚も訓練の中での経験を積むことで、自信をもって告知ができるようになります。
By gaining experience through repeated training scenarios, the dogs develop a clearer understanding of the spatial relationship between obstacles and the helper, which enables them to perform their alert behavior with increased confidence.

足場の悪い状況でのバークアラートは、経験を積むことでスムーズに告知ができるようになっていました。
Through accumulated training experience, the dogs demonstrated the ability to perform clear and confident barking alerts, even under unstable footing or difficult terrain conditions.

HRD Unit

HRDは、捜索環境の変化に対して安定した告知ができるかどうか？の確認の訓練を行いました。足場の悪い状況下・土砂・室内とソースからのセントコーンの流れ方が、それぞれ変わりますので、捜索環境によって犬の反応や告知の判断とスピードに違いが出ることを理解し、今後の訓練精度の向上に取り入れていきます。
In the HRD training, exercises were conducted to evaluate whether the dogs could maintain stable alert behavior under changing search environments.
Scenarios included unstable terrain, soil and debris conditions, and indoor environments, where the scent cone dynamics from the source differ significantly.
Understanding how environmental factors influence the dogs’ responses, alert decisions, and response speed will help us further refine the accuracy and reliability of future HRD training.
