NSA Trailing/Disaster/HRD Training

11月10日（日曜日）AM6:00からTrailing/Disaster/HRD 訓練会を開催しました。
On Sunday, November 10, Trailing, Disaster Search, and HRD training were conducted beginning at 06:00 AM.

Trailing Unit

Trailingは、ユニットごとに自らの現在の課題を把握した上で設定のリクエストを行いながら、新しいヘルパーの導入・屈折や地質変更・距離と時間などの内容を確認しながら訓練を進めました。
In the Trailing training, each unit evaluated their current training challenges and requested specific scenario setups.
The exercises incorporated elements such as new helper introductions, trail turns, surface changes, and variations in trail distance and age, allowing each team to work on their individual training objectives.

Disaster Unit

Disasterは、今までの訓練エリアから場所を移し、環境が変わることで犬の動きや反応にも違いが出てきます。指定エリアの捜索では、ハンドリングが重要なカギになります。
In the Disaster search training, the exercise area was relocated from the usual training site to a different environment.
The change in environment resulted in observable differences in the dogs’ search behavior and responses.
During searches within a designated sector, handler handling and positioning play a critical role in guiding the dog’s search effectively.

室内捜索では空気の対流の確認や経験が今後の実働にも活かされていきます。室内の対流の変化は、同じ設定でも犬のアプローチの違いを教えてくれます。
During indoor search training, observing and understanding airflow patterns and scent movement is essential, as these experiences contribute directly to operational readiness.
Even under the same scenario setup, changes in indoor air circulation can result in different search approaches by the dogs, providing valuable learning opportunities for handlers.

初歩犬は、新しい環境下で足場の違いなども経験できましたし、告知の際の姿勢のステップアップも今後の課題となりました。
For the beginner dogs, the session provided valuable experience working in a new environment with varying footing conditions.
Refining the posture and stability of the alert behavior during indication has been identified as a key objective for future training.

HRD Unit

HRDは、オンリードで捜索とオフリードの捜索。そして捜索環境の違いへの対応が訓練を繰り返すごとに良い結果を引き出せるようになってきています。高低差のある設定や足場の悪い状況なども基礎訓練として今後も進めていきましょう。
In the HRD training, both on-lead and off-lead search exercises were conducted.
With repeated training, the teams have begun to demonstrate improved adaptability to different search environments.
Foundational training will continue to incorporate scenarios involving elevation changes and unstable terrain, helping to further develop the dogs’ operational performance.

告知姿勢も、自主的に告知姿勢に移行できるようにもなっていますので、捜索環境に合わせて状況判断ができるように経験を積んでいきたいと思います。
The dogs are increasingly able to initiate the alert posture independently, indicating a clearer understanding of the final indication behavior.
Continued training will focus on building experience so that the dogs can adapt their responses appropriately to different search environments.
