NSA Trailing/HRD Training

コロナ禍が続く中ではありますが、感染対策を講じた上で、2022年1月にNSA主催のトレーリング・HRD訓練会を開催いたしました。
Despite the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, NSA hosted a Trailing and HRD training session in January 2022, implementing appropriate infection prevention measures.

🤝 協力体制の拡充で訓練の質が向上

今回より新たなヘルパーの方々にもご協力いただけるようになり、トレーリング訓練の内容がさらに充実したものとなりました。
また、HRD訓練では、使用許可を頂いている公園管理者様の全面的なご協力により、十分な時間を確保しながら基礎から応用へのステップアップが可能に。各ユニットの現在のスキルや、今後の課題も明確に把握できる貴重な機会となりました。
Beginning with this session, we were pleased to receive support from new helpers, which further enhanced the quality and depth of our Trailing training.
In the HRD training, thanks to the full cooperation of the park management authority who granted us permission to use the site, we were able to secure sufficient training time and progress systematically from foundational exercises to more advanced applications. This provided a valuable opportunity to clearly assess each unit’s current skill level and identify areas for future development.

🐶 実りある訓練と連携の強化

訓練の冒頭では、新しく参加されたサポーターの方々をご紹介し、訓練に関するレクチャーや注意事項の共有を行いました。犬の飼育経験のある方が多く、理解度・対応力ともに非常に高く頼もしい限りです。
At the beginning of the training session, we introduced the newly participating supporters and provided an orientation covering training procedures and important safety guidelines.
Many of the supporters have prior experience in dog ownership, and their high level of understanding and responsiveness proved to be extremely reassuring.

トレーリングの初歩訓練も、以前設定の難易度が上がりましたが、意欲的な捜索ができていました。
Although the difficulty level of the introductory trailing exercises was increased compared to previous settings, the teams demonstrated strong motivation and conducted their searches with confidence and determination.

HRDユニットでは、改めてサーチドッグの持つ嗅覚能力の高さを実感できる場面も多く見られました。
Within the HRD units, there were many moments that once again highlighted the remarkable olfactory capabilities of search dogs.

特にトレーリングの基礎強化においては、外周歩道やコンビニ付近などの複雑な環境下でのトレーニングを実施し、初めてのヘルパーに対する捜索精度も確認することができました。
These scenarios enabled us to assess operational-level search precision, even when working with first-time helpers in high-distraction environments.

寒さの厳しい中、早朝からご参加いただいた皆様、本当にお疲れ様でした。今後も社会情勢を見極めながら、安全を最優先に訓練会を企画・実施してまいります。
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated from early in the morning despite the severe cold conditions.
Moving forward, we will continue to carefully assess the social situation and plan and conduct our training sessions with safety as our highest priority.
