NSA Trailing/HRD 適性試験

2026年11月3日（火曜日）、青森市浪岡にて、NPO法人 北東北捜索犬チームのUnitを対象とした「Trailing／HRD 適性試験」を実施しました。
On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, we conducted Trailing and Human Remains Detection (HRD) Aptitude Tests for dog-handler units from the NPO Northern Tohoku Search Dog Team in Namioka, Aomori City, Japan.

今回の適性試験には7頭の捜索犬が出陳し、オビディエンス・Trailing・HRDの各審査を行いました。すべての審査を怪我や事故もなく、無事に終了することができました。
前回のトレーニングから約1か月が経過しましたが、その間に各Unitが積み重ねてきた訓練の成果が、今回の試験結果にも表れていました。それぞれの課題に向き合いながら継続してきた取り組みが、着実に捜索犬とハンドラーの成長につながっていることを確認できました。
A total of seven search dogs participated in the aptitude tests, which included evaluations in Obedience, Trailing, and Human Remains Detection (HRD). All evaluations were completed safely, without any injuries or accidents.
Approximately one month had passed since the previous training session, and the results of this assessment reflected the progress each dog-handler unit had made through its continued training during that period.
It was encouraging to see that the consistent efforts of each unit to address its individual challenges were steadily contributing to the development of both the search dogs and their handlers.

捜索犬の適性試験では、犬自身の捜索能力や告知動作だけではなく、ハンドラーの観察力や判断力、そして実働を想定したUnitとしての総合的な能力が重要となります。今回の審査を通して、それぞれのUnitの現在の習熟度や今後の課題を確認する機会となりました。
In search dog aptitude tests, it is essential to evaluate not only the dog’s search capabilities and alert behavior, but also the handler’s observation and decision-making skills, as well as the overall capabilities of the dog-handler unit in the context of real-world search operations.
This assessment provided a valuable opportunity to evaluate the current proficiency level of each unit and identify areas requiring further development.

国内での審査はすべて終了しましたが、今後は試験映像を海外講師へ送り、最終的な評価とコメントをいただく予定です。評価結果については、確認が取れ次第、各Unitへ通知します。今回の取り組みが、それぞれのUnitにとって良い結果につながることを願っています。
All assessments conducted in Japan have now been completed. The test videos will be sent to our international instructors for their final evaluations and feedback.
Once the final evaluation results have been confirmed, we will notify each dog-handler unit accordingly.
We sincerely hope that the efforts made throughout this process will lead to positive outcomes for all participating units.
